winstons "amen, brother" came out in may 1969 on the album color him father.

the sanctuary opens in nyc, 1969 (maybe?) which bill brewster calls the "first totally uninhibited gay discotheque in america"; devil and angel mural; francis grasso djed here. he started dancing for physical therapy. liked djing, hated crowds, liked being in control. sanctuary closes by 1973.

stonewall rebellion 6/26/1969.
